A bit about me



Alain Boldini is an Assistant Professor at New York Institute of Technology, with appointment in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
He received his Bachelor's of Science (magna cum laude) in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2015, his Master's of Science (magna cum laude) in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino (double degree) in 2017, and his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from New York University Tandon School of Engineering in 2022. He has been a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University Tandon School of Engineering from 2022 to 2023.
He is passionate about understanding the behavior of complex natural and social systems. He is the author of over 20 publications in international, peer-reviewed journals, including Physical Review Letters, npj Computational Materials, Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids, and International Journal of Engineering Science.
